17.05.2009 - Subcamp program - Subcamp party
At Intercamp 2009, Saturday evening we will have a party. What is the plan: after the Scout's own, the fire lit there, will be carried to the subcamps, where a subcamp fire will be lit. The subcamp fire will be per 2 subcamps together. Subcamp Bloemenbuurt & Componistenbuurt, Wetenschappersbuurt & Indische buurt and Bomenbuurt & Vogelbuurt, will have the fire and party together.
Now about the party. The plan is that every troop brings a delicacy to the party, which will be eaten by everyone in the 2 subcamps. Make sure you bring enough for your own troop. If every troop does so, there will be enough for everybody...
The delicacy’s we think of are things like: little cheese cubes, sausage parts, homemade cake, may even something like chips or Doritos, some special delicay of your country or where you live. I suppose you can even think of nicer things than we can.
You will get further information from your subcamp staff on camp!

09.02.2009 - The village green
Don't miss out on visiting the village green on Intercamp. It is traditional Dutch and there are many things to see and do. For example; you can watch how wooden shoes are made, help with making a flower bulb field and much more. In addition, do not forget to stop by the departments stores where you can buy everything related to scouting. Even when it comes to food and drinks, you are at the right place.
So come and visit the village green!
12.01.2009 - Hello Intercampers of 2009!
We are very busy putting together a nice and active program for you. We are also working on great ideas for the sub camps. Together we will build a large village: "The Village of Intercamp".
The Village of Intercamp has a number of districts (sub camps) and a number of small squares.
Lots of activities will take place on these squares. On the large square you will find village-like things, like shops, a cinema, tea house and more. We also have a museum in our village where you can find everything on the origin of Intercamp 42 years ago in these same surroundings.

01.11.2008 - Welcome to Wellerlooi!
INTERCAMP 2009 will be held in Wellerlooi, province Limburg in the Netherlands from May 29th through June 1st. It will take place near the area where the very first Intercamp took place in 1967.
Approximately 2500 scouts from 9 different nationalities are expected in Wellerlooi during the Whitsun weekend:
- USA: BSA
- Belgium: FOS (and VVKSM)
- UK: Scout Association
- Netherlands: Scouting Nederland
- France: Scouts de France
- Germany: Ring der Pfadfinder(rinnen)
- Czech Republic: Junak
- Poland, Zwiazek Harcerstwa Polskiego
- Canada, Scouts Canada
All scouts are welcome in "Scouting Village", a large international meeting place, where there is a lot to see and experience. In and outside the camp area, a well varied program is offered for all participating scouts and their
staff. The program will include a hike during the day, several exciting sub camp activities, evening activities, and a thrilling and adventurous night hike. In short, there will be Scouting activities for everyone!
Our theme for 2009 is: "Scouting, do it!"
The first thing you need to do is sign up as participating group (closing date 1st March) or as an assistant (closing date 1st February).
